Hello everyone! As the remnants of Ophelia slowly move away from the mid-Atlantic, here are some rainfall totals for the past 72 hours throughout Morris County, NJ.


  1. Chatham: 2.59 inches.

  2. Madison: 3.26 inches.

  3. Randolph Township: 3.33 inches.

  4. Mendham: 2.25 inches.

  5. Parsipanny: 3.11 inches.

  6. Mount Arlington: 3.09 inches.

  7. Long Hill Township: 3.08 inches.

  8. Succasunna: 3.1 inches.

  9. Califon: 2.99 inches.

  10. Basking Ridge: 3.28 inches.

  11. Morristown: 2.82 inches.

  12. Mine Hill Township: 3.27 inches.

  13. Denville Township: 2.07 inches.

  14. Harding Township: 2.63 inches.

  15. Morris Plains: 2.76 inches.

  16. Ironia: 2.76 inches.

  17. Morris Township: 2.78 inches.

  18. Stirling: 2.76 inches.

Overall, several towns have recorded around 2 and 3 inches of rain. Gloomy conditions should clear out with sunshine later this week and daytime temperatures will rise back to the upper 60Fs and potentially the low 70Fs.
